TRAFFIC CONGESTION CAUSED BY SPRAWL

Many intersections in Warren County are congested. At some intersections, there seem to be three times as many vehicles at the intersections than the intersections are designed to accommodate. There have been improvements since my 2001 Campaign to improve New Jersey District 23. More needs to be accomplished to make the roads safer.

For instance, what about Route 519 x Route 57? WOW ! What a nightmare.

The constant battles over responsibility often cause loss of life when ANONYMOUS COMMITTEES allow dangerous traffic patterns to exist and contribute to vehicle accidents. Who is ultimately responsible for vehicle accidents that occur on our roads and highways? The New Jersey Department of Transportation, and We the voters who permit continued driving congestion.

To improve driving safety, all intersections throughout District 23 need to be surveyed for safety and convenience for the drivers who use the roads.
