For thirty years, elected leaders have been saying,'Things are getting better'.
I've been waiting and hoping for things to get better. I really thought when 'baby boomers' took over,
things would get better. I waited and hoped and now baby boomers are in charge.
Sunday, December 31, 2000, my mind was made up to repeatedly campaign
for public office until I win to improve America. NEWS ITEM:
Section One, Page 23, The Star-Ledger reported:
Slain man sought safer life in America. And since that occurance, the
September 11, 2001 terror attack on our nation. You or me could be next.
THINGS ARE NOT GETTING BETTER.
The following events occurred in Warren County, New Jersey.
Most of these events were preventable.
Summer of 2000, in the middle of the night in Phillipsburg, New Jersey a Phillipsburg
ex-Police Officer was killed. He was driving a motorcycle on South Main
Street and ran into a local newspaper delivery vehicle that was making a turn onto
South Main Street.
Summer of 2000, a father in Phillipsburg was murdered.
Highschool students are regularly killed in car crashes.
We all know someone or know of someone who we went to High School with who died of a drug overdose.
Was it in 1994 or 1995 when the Warren County Assistant Prosecutor's vehicle was driven off
Route 57 in an alleged alcohol related crash? The great volume of information is overwhelming.
Was it in 1999 or 1998 that a Lopatcong Township Police Officer
went on a jealous shooting rampage before taking his own life?
Did anyone ever wonder if the Judge whose bad decision caused the shooting rampage
was ever counseled or if the Judge's string of bad decisions were reviewed? Does anyone care?
The social anarchy hurts residents from all demographic origins. Without a doubt,
there is too much death and destruction in the United States of America.
How many Americans are numb from the traumatic shock of daily events?
At times, when nothing seems to make any sense, life goes by in a blur.
People are afraid.
Former U.S. Senator Bill Bradley stated,"Fear blankets our streets like a sheet of ice."
THINGS ARE NOT GETTING BETTER !
